Reverend Neyland L. Pettis Sr. is a humble servant of GOD, national recording artist, nationally published songwriter and music composer, and visionary who serves as Senior Pastor of United Baptist Church of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

Neyland Pettis Sr.'s mission and focus is to be led by the Holy Spirit to share the gospel of Jesus Christ, to train all in Biblical truth and to include each one in a community of faith and fellowship.

Pastor Neyland Pettis Sr.'s accolades includes the following:

• Attended Mid America Christian University for Bachelors in Christian Ministries, Dr. Ledbetter Bible College, and Oklahoma City Community College for undergraduate studies

• Answered call to ministry 2005 at Church of The Living God P.G.& T. Temple #1 Oklahoma City under Bishop D.L. McKnight – Pastor

• Worked with ACTION CENTER Outreach Ministries under Pastor Roger E. Franklin Sr. serving the homeless and financially challenged Southside communities of Oklahoma City 

• Ordained and licensed in Christian Ministry 2008

• Served as Diocese and National Organist for the Church of The Living God P.G. & T.

• Served as Instructor of Beginner to Advanced Piano/Harp Performance and Leadership Training at Classen School of Advanced Studies 6 – 12K; 2005 – 2008

• Married with 5 children, 2 son-in-laws, 3 granddaughters, and 1 grandson that began over 30 years ago.
